Is It Yours is the songwriting and studio project from Trinidadian-born, UK-based creator OD Hunte. Rooted in retro-soul, psychedelic Afro-dub rock, and funk, it is built on bass-led rhythm, late-night groove, and cinematic texture, with spacious FX and slow-burn hooks that sneak up rather than shout.By background, OD is a writer and producer with tracks placed across hundreds of TV shows, plus films and video games, and that sense of scene and atmosphere runs through everything Is It Yours does.Debut single “The Fullest Side of the Moon” sets the tone for the wider album: deep pocket drums, elastic bass, guitar colour, and an emotional pull that keeps you coming back. Second single “Times Like These” is released January 23, 2026.
The Fullest Side of the Moon
Anchored by its repeating refrain, “The Fullest Side of the Moon” strips heartbreak down to a single image and lets the groove do the talking. It is minimal, melodic and cinematic, with a slow-burn hook that sneaks up and stays there.
“Times Like These” looks back at childhood with adult eyes. It is a song about longing for the simplicity some kids get to live inside, before the weight of choices, bills, and responsibility kicks in. With images of being underneath palm trees, OD ties the feeling to a real place, a quiet reference to growing up in the Caribbean, and to the kind of ease you do not fully appreciate until it is gone.
